As part of our commitment to the Jewish values of tzedakah (obligation to give) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), we, the seventh graders at the Milwaukee Jewish Day School, have decided to do something bold. We know that we are among the most privileged youth in the world and enjoy luxuries that many children cannot even imagine. So we have built our own 501(c)(3) charity to give a voice to those who have none and to help repair injustices in the world. In Hebrew, it's called קול הילדים
